De Broglio Attorneys launched court action over 430+ unpaid claims. The RAF recorded 1,775 default judgments in Q1 2026/27 with an 85% vacancy rate in its legal division. The Fund has had four CEOs in seven months. It received its first clean audit but faces a potential R40.9 billion liability from 160,000 RAF 1 Form resubmissions due by 30 September 2026. A Settlement Hub requiring R16 billion has been proposed. The DA and AA are pushing to scrap the RAF entirely.
